La Collezione “WALLS OF LIGHT” firmata Polverini Hair Academia debutta in maniera esplosiva proponendo un Gothic Mood dallo stile volutamente strong.

WALLS OF LIGHT presenta una costruzione di linee definite e allo stesso tempo leggere.

Volevamo qualcosa di concettuale ma che fosse anche di ispirazione per la prossima stagione. Abbiamo lavorato pertanto con estrema minuzia ai dettagli, proponendo colori accesi e prediligendo forme eleganti e raffinate.

Il concept ritrovato nello Stile Gotico di voler alleggerire le strutture architettoniche è ciò che viene reinterpretato in questa collezione Spring/Summer 2020.

Per la serata di apertura del Festival di Sanremo e per la prima volta sul palco dell’Ariston in qualità di BIG, ALBERTO URSO rivelazione di Amici 2018 ha scelto un nuovo look capelli e barba.

Un capello definito da una riga al centro, lucidato per dare un effetto classico, ma pur sempre naturale, con un ciuffo frontale morbido, che diventa parte integrante della gestualità artistica di Urso. Un look scelto appositamente per dare libertà al cantante di toccarsi i propri capelli e viverseli, quasi da creare un’estensione della sua musica, in un flow in continuo movimento, come, appunto le ciocche dei capelli.

HEADMASTERS announces New London Academy in February 2020 – UK

Headmasters is set to open a new London Academy in February 2020. For the first time in its history, it will teach its education programmes to the hairdressing industry. Entering its 38th year and with over 60 salons, Headmasters will offer courses to independent hairdressers and salons wanting to benefit from the expertise and hands on experience of the Headmasters creative team.

Led by Andrew Barton and creative ambassadors Gareth Williams, Jonathan Soons, Nicole Iroh, Alfie Pfeffer and Clare Hansford, the salon group aims to provide informative and inspiring education that can be taken straight back to the salon floor.

CosmeTokyo the largest Asian Cosmetics Exhibition 20 – 22 January 2020

From this year, COSME TOKYO will take place within COSME Week Tokyo.

HOB Salons scoops two awards at the Fellowship for British Hairdressing Luncheon & Awards 2019 in London – UK

HOB Salons has been named as Best Salon Group at the Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s Luncheon & Award 2019, beating the best of business in the hairdressing industry.

Directors Akin Konizi, Clive Collins and Paul Simbler collected the award in front of their peers at a glittering lunch at the Intercontinental Hotel in London’s Park Lane. HOB Academy head of education, Jake Unger, also picked up the award for Snapshot Image of the Year with a beautiful copper style.

HOB Salons, which has some 25 salons and employs more than 480 team members, celebrated its 35th anniversary last year and adds these trophies to their collection of 60 other creative, business and international awards.

Akin said: “We are delighted to win the Salon Group award, which is for everyone that works for HOB Salons. We have some amazing people within the company and we are very proud they have been recognised for the work they do.”

Sally Brooks named Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year 2019 in London – UK

Sally Brooks has been named Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year 2019 at a glittering lunch in London.

The Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s Luncheon & Awards was held at the Intercontinental Hotel on Park Lane and recognises the best of British hairdressers, who work tirelessly for the industry both creatively and in business.

Amongst a host of awards presented by President Ken Picton and Chancellor Ashleigh Hodges, was the ultimate accolade, Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year.

Sally, owner of Brooks & Brooks salon in Holborn, London, with Jamie Brooks, has won some 60 awards with her creative team including London Hairdresser of the Year three times and British Hairdresser of the Year 2017 and 2018. Sally collected her award to raptuous applause from the audience who included her friend and mentor, Trevor Sorbie.

“This is such a surprise but I’m delighted to be named Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year. It’s been an incredibly busy year which has included producing and directing my documentary, The Journey to My Destination. I have a lot of things planned for the industry in 2020 so watch this space!”
