Flora Obscura
was created as a world
where colour, texture, and movement become emotional expression.
Inspired by nature, surrealism, and blurred-motion photography,
the collection explores transformation, energy,
and individuality through fluid and artistic hair design.
Each look was developed to balance softness and strength,
with hair shaped to move naturally with light and rhythm.
More than technical perfection,
the collection celebrates freedom, texture, and authentic artistic emotion.

The inspiration behind my collection was
the alluring Victorian era with a strong focus on the French porcelain dolls
of La Maison De Poupee, meaning The Doll house.
These dolls were once symbols of high fashion and luxury for the wealthy,
and I wanted my collection to embody the same sense of prestige and symbolism.
Dolls exist within a dollhouse each carrying
their own unique characteristics and personalities.
Throughout my collection you will see the creation of my own dolls,
each one symbolising beauty, fierceness , individuality and intricate detailing.
To this day, French porcelain dolls remain cherished
for their artistry and sentimental value.
With this collection, I wanted to capture the same artistry and passion,
bringing it to life with every look, as if every creation belongs to
La Maison De Poupee, cherished for its beauty, strength and exquisite beauty.

‘Linen’ brings together colour,
texture and shape in a way that feels balanced and instinctive.
Soft, natural tones are paired with moments
of stronger colour placement,
while the cuts play with movement and subtle texture.
The overall feel is expressive yet relaxed,
creating a series of looks that blend softness
with a slightly undone, modern edge.

A visual exploration of duality,
symmetry but with a subtle insight into an inner, rebellious character.
Each model pairing aims to show a mirrored reflection –
not identical, but one rhythmically aligned
that shows the quiet strength and personal identity behind the image of beauty.
Echoes fuses refined artistry with
contemporary hair sculpting and cool-toned minimalism.
This milestone collection celebrates
three decades of Hooker & Young’s visionary
creativity, showing their passion for continuing
to push boundaries with their trademark elegance,
thought provoking concepts and innovative visuals.
