INSPIRATION
Gypsy is a hair collection born from the untamed spirit of a wanderer — a soul whose world is a swirling marble of colour, texture, and art.
Inspired by the fearless blending of cultures, fabrics, and dreams, Gypsy weaves together rich tapestries of marble prints, flowing silks, and wild textures to create hair that moves like poetry and speaks without words.
Each style is a rebellion against the ordinary, a celebration of the beautiful chaos found in the fusion of art and life.
Gypsy is for those who live unbound, who find home in the journey and freedom in every thread of their story. It’s not just a collection — it’s a movement, a dance between cultures, a masterpiece written in strands.

‘Introducing the latest collection from Mahogany Hairdressing.
“New Boho II” takes strong references from the fashion house Chloe and their Creative Director Chemena Kamali.
Kamali’s return to the French house draws inspiration from the sheer, fluid freedom of the ‘70’s and the longest serving Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld.
Whilst remaining absolute to the Mahogany Hairdressing viewpoint, this year’s collection comprises of seamless disconnection, erratic silhouettes and dishevelled point cutting born from the foundations of our strength of precision cutting and colour.
The colour palette is a blend of Scandinavian blondes with contrasting metallic blue and blush peaches, sultry brunettes using an inky palette to bring depth and shine”.

A cut and color collection by Encarna Moreno & María Gómez
“CODEX” is a visual manifesto.
A collection that transforms hair into language, into symbol, into living geometry. Inspired by the fusion of the tribal and the digital, it explores how shape and color can encode personal identity in a new alphabet of beauty.
The color palette plays with the softness of vanilla blonde, the contrasts of holographic pink, and the depth of graphite and black, creating a balance between the delicate and the radical. Everything is designed so that the color not only complements the cut, but also enhances it as a narrative element.
“CODEX” is not just a collection, it’s a statement.
A creative hairstyling proposal that transcends aesthetics to tell stories through hair.

Marine Metamorphosis
Tears of the Sea by Joel Ibáñez Maturana is a fascinating creative project that explores the theme of metamorphosis, blending the ethereal beauty of the ocean with the transformative power of artificial intelligence. The collection dives deeply into both the unconscious and the ocean’s depths, presenting a series of avant-garde looks where hair becomes the wings of a mythical marine creature.
Creative Concept
The central axis of the concept is metamorphosis: human hair ceases to be an extension of identity and transforms into a living, floating, and almost magical structure. Inspired by the undulating and translucent forms of marine fauna, the hair adopts organic silhouettes that appear suspended in water, evoking movement, fluidity, and a hypnotic beauty, as if drifting under ocean currents.
Visual Aesthetic
The hair comes alive with undulating, translucent, and bioluminescent textures, imitating aquatic species such as Aurelia aurita (moon jellyfish). The hair strands stretch and curve surrealistically, as if responding to invisible currents, giving the images a dreamlike and underwater air.
The color palette is dominated by electric and aquatic tones: blues, fluorescent, pearl, and iridescent whites. These colors seem to glow from within, replicating the effect of marine bioluminescence.
Styling and Makeup
The body becomes a canvas that reflects the ocean, with skin adorned with sparkles emulating the reflection of light underwater. Makeup plays with points of light and transparency, enhancing the features without concealing them. The result is a look that evokes a mythological creature, suspended between fantasy and the ocean’s depths.
A notable aspect of this collection is its inclusive approach to beauty. Models were chosen with vitiligo and albinism, giving voice to different skin types and celebrating the full diversity of human beauty.

INSPIRATION
Osoreru which means fearless is a celebration of confident women Embracing color alongside strong shapes and styles.
The colours are inspired by artists such as Yayoi Kusama whose exhibition was recently showing.
I took my inspiration of the subculture of Osaka the colour and the vibe.
I love how the bright colours kaleidoscope and blend with fashion structure and design.
I view hair as a fabric and I love to weave colour, through that fabric.
In the cuts and colours I create, I love to break the design down and reconstruct them into new shapes and styles. I believe hair is a fabric that can be adorned with beautiful colour.
I worked with bright and bold colours contrasting and conflicting with darker shades to create mood and tone.
The colour and design were inspired by looking through a kaleidoscope with repeating patterns, shapes and design, the bright and bold.
TECHNIQUES
For my collection, I used many different techniques,
With the graphic patterns, I worked section by section so that the colours would all line up. I worked with hair elastic bands and created systematic patterns, pre-lightened them and then coloured them using bright colours that contrasted with the darker base shades.
I needed to create a colour that worked with a model that had shaved the top of her hair, so I decided to make a strong geometric pattern and then colour strands of the long hair at the back in matching bold colours. I wanted to work with darker and brighter colours only to create harmony and balance within this collection.
Although the colour palette I chose was strong, I wanted to create a collection that represented beauty and harmony. The tools I used to create these colours where paint brushes elastic bands sponges and stencils that I created using plastic.

“Celestial features six powerful, otherworldly queens. I envisage each of them as superhuman, divine galactic rulers. Inspired by the universes of Star Wars and Dune, I have interwoven an interstellar theme throughout the looks.
The hair is shimmering with galactic colours, using texture and strong shapes to channel my inspiration of celestial alien royalty. The contrasting colours and layering textures of space and planets have inspired me: from fiery golds, reds and oranges through to deep greens, blues and silvery hues.
I have interwoven the striking shades and quiet movement of the Aurora Borealis and Australis throughout the collection with a dreamy blend of blues, greens and purples. The looks channel otherworldliness, mystery, power and beauty”
