China, one of the world’s most polluting countries with traditional values, is waking up to a new era: life in blue… The traditional Mao suit is reused and transformed into a fashion suit. The people are yearning for freedom and peace. Between tradition, modernity and serenity, the cut was asymmetrical, the hair was washed and the bangs were long or short.
Assembled from second-hand clothes, we have fun, we dress up, respecting sustainable development and craftsmanship rediscovered with greater ecological awareness. We’re going back to something simpler: jeans and three T-shirts. But the important thing is to be different, to have fun and to exist socially, so we’re all inventing our own fashions. A severe or badly cut fringe, a wispy bob, a faded pastel blue hair colour…
