Amy Gaudie ❤️ AU (Hairstylist), EPOCHAL (7 photos) New Hair Collection
Epochal; an extremely important and infl uential moment in time.
The inspiration for EPOCHAL was derived from a desire to interpret traditional shapes and transform them into hair art, creating an influential moment in hair.
Creating layer upon layer of texture, dimension and form, EPOCHAL manipulates structures to demonstrate the hair’s ability to manifest itself into new embodiments.
To continue the line and formation vision, my styling and makeup
choices were simple, strong and defined in their shape and tones
to complement the unique reverie.
Entertaining a slightly futuristic vibe, I had a desire to work with
different fibres and textures, which embraced my own interpretations of techniques, styles and concepts.
The subtle shading between light and dark exaggerates the strength of the forms within the hair, giving both dimension and structure to each look. The combined looks are strong with a hint of softness, creating a depth and romances that marries everything together.

We never imagined we would be announcing our second Alternative Hair Virtual Show for 2021, but in these strange times we have decided this is the best decision we can make in order to reach the global audience that has so loyally supported us over the years. What we learnt from last year’s first virtual show has enabled us to plan an exciting programme over 2 days on the weekend of the 9th & 10th October.

Despite all the challenges we faced in 2020, the numbers of hairdressers from across the Globe entering the Alternative Hair International Visionary Awards exceeded all previous years and we were thrilled to see such amazing work. When I came up with the idea of a photographic award giving opportunity to unknown creative hairdressers, I never imagined the Visionary Awards would grow to be so popular. Sadly, once again this year we’ll be unable to put on our usual live show, but using the powers of the internet, we’ll ensure that all our finalists get the opportunity to show their fantastic work to our international audience.

Le PICCOLE AZIENDE ❤️all’assalto dei GRANDI BRAND
Com’è possibile?
La pandemia ha fatto diminuire la pressione pubblicitaria
delle GRANDI MARCHE, si sono persi Rappresentanti,
sono cessati i servizi, è mancato il contatto fisico
ed ecco che chi è sul territorio ne sta approfittando.
A parità di pressione,
vince chi ha il prezzo più basso
e…di tanto !!
Non sarà facile recuperare le quote di mercato perse perché il Parrucchiere si è accorto che i prodotti sono oggi molto simili per qualità e il marketing ha meno influenza, anzi si è bloccato !
Ci sarà, e si sta già vedendo, un rimescolamento delle quote di mercato
fra le AZIENDE, e la classifica dei primi è destinata a cambiare.
