A collaboration with Haute Couture designer Peter Dwyer, Sharon Blain and The Art of Hair Creative Team was always going to be an inspirational extravaganza. Use of a combination of gauzy back combing, angel hair texture, hair felting, complex wave details and luxurious sky high bouffant, illustrated a high degree of technical excellence which resulted in Ombre Noires , a feminine yet fragile feel that empowered the model’s beauty and strength.
Peter took influences for his unique collection from intricate, elegant Venetian and Parisian urns that have been recognized as respected masterpieces throughout many centuries. The outcome evokes a stunning collection of visionary gowns, all making individual statements.
The lavish shaped skirts ranged from a variety of rhomboid, circular, sphere and cones; with a colour palette of straw, black and vintage tapestry bringing the collection to life.
The embellishment, resplendent on the outside detail of the gowns, was the key to the hair designs. Intricate hair pieces and sleek polished shapes were created to complement the collection.
