Londra: una parte seguitissima dell’Alternative Hair Show è il Visionary Award, competizione che ricerca talenti emergenti nel settore parrucchieri. I finalisti delle 3 sezioni – Taglio e colore, Taglio maschile e Avanguardia – mostrano ognuno una proposta su modella che viene giudicata da una giuria di parrucchieri e giornalisti. Il grande sforzo creativo e l’enorme qualità dei lavori rende il compito dei giudici particolarmente difficile. Anthony Mascolo, presidente dell’Alternative Hair Show e ideatore del Visionary Award, spiega che: “ogni anno i lavori diventano più belli, lo stadard è incredibile. Ogni stilista partecipa non solo con un’acconciatura ma con un make-up e uno stile creati come total look”.

The finalists of the 3 sections: Cut & Colour, Men’s Cuts and Avant-Garde, each show 1 model judged on the day by an esteemed panel of hairdressers and journalists. The spectacular effort and high-quality of the work made the judging extremely difficult. Anthony Mascolo, Alternative Hair President, who launched the Visionary Award said, “Every year the work gets better and better. The standard was phenomenal. Every single hairdresser not only showed beautiful hair, but the makeup, and styling created fantastic overall looks. ”
