YMC SS16: Staying true to YMC’s intrinsic style, the SS16 collection brings together an eclectic colour palette, combined with signature soft tailoring, classic silhouettes and luxurious fabrics.
The Look: Refined yet effortlessly polished boys – hair was dressed into soft textures with natural movement, SS16 was very much about invisible grooming.
How: “We wanted the hair to exude the feeling of effortless styling to complement the collection. Relaxed textures with a polished finish provide the ultimate style for the modern gentleman,” says Bruce Masefield, Sassoon Team Leader. “Detailed partings, matt finishes and knotted hairnets were emphasised to compliment stylised Bowler hats that featured heavily in the collection,” says Bruce.

The Look: From loose undone textures to discreet silhouette and sleek finishes groomed hair was given a twist.
How: “We wanted to continue the feeling of the club scene culture in the hair. The prep and individuality is key, loose undone textures were diffused with a hairdryer and moulded into the desired shape. Silhouettes were combined with deliberate imperfections to amplify the eclectic mix of styling,” says Josh Gibson, Sassoon Men Expert.
