Inspired by media trends following the recent recession and the theme of survival, New World Order is the latest collection from D&J Ambrose Colour Director, Clayde Baumann, showcasing new colour techniques that mimic fashion and palette trends like camouflage and animal print. Palette and techniques choices are inspired by popular movie culture with imagery drawn from films such as Fifth Element, Hunger Games and Tank Girl. Set in a backdrop of a post-apocalyptic dystopia, the collection explores metamorphosis and evolution, through experimentation as methods of surviving a harsh climactic environment.
