Official colourist to Next Model Management and widely credited with bringing Balayage to the UK, Jack Howard’s education has proved so popular he’s now trademarked “Balayage by Jack Howard” for education, and application of hair wefts.
Jack is now launching four ‘Balayage Revolution’ dates in London at Paul Edmonds where he is based. The events at the beautiful boutique salon at 217 Brompton Road will serve to add another component to Jack’s Balayage Revolution on the road in-salon seminars.
Of the new classes featuring his signature Balayage application, Jack says, “These classes are going to be small and intimate, with a maximum of 8 people. The idea behind it is to dispel the myths and fears around freehand work and by the end of the day; participants will be able to perfect the classic Balayage application from root to tip. This class will allow the delegates to then take what they’ve learnt back to their salon and immediately they’ll be able to make more money by offering another colour service.
Jack has worked his colour magic on the likes of Poppy Delevingne, Suki Waterhouse, Donna Air, Gillian Anderson, Clara Paget, Ola Rudnicka, Vanessa Kirby, Bonnie Wright, Hofit Golan, Ana Beatriz Barros and Daniela Braga, to name but a few. His career has led him from London to Washington DC, New York to La and San Francisco to Paris as a top hair colourist and a Senior Portfolio Artist for L’Oreal Professional North America and L’Oreal Professional UK & Ireland as a Guest Artist. His work comes highly recommended by the likes of magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, Glamour, Harpers Bazaar, ES magazine and Tatler.
