Earlier last month the four talented 2013 Mizani Afro Look Award finalists took their fashion-led skills in afro hair to the live competition floor inside the renowned l’Oréal Professionnel Academy, London, for a chance to win a prestigioius L’Oréal Colour Trophy Award. From more than 900 entries, just four teams were chisen to compete in the live final – Jason Liddiard Hairdressing in Rainham, Kent; Toni & Guy Chiswick; Jimmy Campbell, Fullham, London and Cutting Room Creative, Leeds. The 2013 judging panel consisted of the cream of the afro hairdressing industry, including Charlotte Mensah from Hair Lounge, London, and award-winning stylists Junior Green and Michelle Thompson, alongside renowned session and celebrity hair stylist Eugene Davis. The winner has been announced as arte of the glamorous L’Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final Awards on 3 June.
