Waltham Forest College became a fashion catwalk recently as more than 100 students took part in the Total Look Hair and Beauty Show. The competition included various themes sush as musicals, fantasy pin-ups, Austin Powers and fruits and flowers. Judge Emma Grayling, a senior stylist at Toni & Guy said: "I was so impressed with what I saw; it was more like a professional competition. The ideas and creativity that went into each lokk was tryly insirational". The winner of the Level 3 Hairdressing competition was mature tudent Keerati Davidson, whose model wore an esemble that took months to create and involved artificial hair and papier maché fruits and flowers. Winner of the competition were presented with goodie bags containing hairdressing and beauty products.
