Jennifer Lopez: J. Lo has gorgeous, thick, healtly hair and this full style works well for her hair type. It’s boosted further by the different tones of colour that help create more dimension to the overall look, but she should try for a smoother finish through the parting area to create more lenght to her face. As it is, the width over the temple area suggests a roundness that could be avoided.
Elle Macpherson: Elle’s look is super glam: a style she sports most days. For the rest of us, it’s the eprfect choice for special occasions as it’s flattering and feminine, but also look quite natural. In terms of her colour, this is a development of the ombré look; the hair is hioghlighted around the hairline and the top section left closer to her natural colour, which means less re-growth.
Rihanna: Big hair is big business right now and can be worn many ways. To achieve Rihanna’s columised waves, prep towel-dried hair with mousse, take sections of hair, curl from the roots upwards and blow-dry using a large ceramic brush. Once dry, remove the brush and apply atyling powder to the roots. Turn the head upside down and shake the curls out for amazing root lift and a style that will keep its colume all night.
Cheryl Cole: This style definitely acknowledges the all, American look, with Cheryl turning up the volume more than usual. Although this look nods towards this season’s 1970’s glamour trend, we feel there may be just a little too much volume for Cheryl’s petite fetures. Depending on the hair’s natural texture, this style can be created using a medium or large ceramic round brush for Hollywood blow-dry effect. For hair which is naturally straighter, heated rollers will give longer lasting bounce.
