| Alternative Hair Russia Present Visionary Award 2011 in St Petersburg | |||
| On Saturday 28th May 2011 newly formed Alternative Hair Russia presented its inaugural ‘Visionary Award’ in St Petersburg, uniting hairstylists across the country. Founder of the Alternative Hair Organisation Tony Rizzo was welcomed to the awards ceremony to be part of this momentous occasion that raised €9000 for Children with Leukaemia. The Visionary Award finalist’s presentation showcased 25 finalists from across the country and was held in a beautifully opulent 18th century building in the city, ‘The Palace of Counts Beloselskie Beloozerskie’. | Judges included the Winners of the 2010 International Visionary Award, The ‘A’ Twins from Lithuania. ‘The standard of work was particularly inspiring making even choosing the finalists remarkably challenging’ explained Founder Tony Rizzo. ‘The Visionary Award was created to discover new and aspiring talent worldwide’. Winner Dmitriy Ageev will now compete at the Alternative Hair Show London 2011 at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall on 16th October 2011 for the International Visionary Award title. Alternative Hair Show Russia is to be held at the State Kremlin Palace on 28th September 2011. The show will feature 17 teams from 9 countries. The Alternative Hair Organisation raises funds for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research in the UK and similar charitable entities worldwide. | |||
