| A semi-retired hairdresser is taking a Dragon’s Den approach to re-entering the industry, offering to finance a new salon venture in return for ashare of the business, but only for the candidate that impresses him with their portfolio and business acumen. Robert Beckett has £100,000 to invest, and is inviting ambitious salon owners who want to expand, or talented stylists who want to make the progression to salon owner, to contact him. If he likes what he hears, robert will invite candidates to present to him, Dragon’s Den-style, to prove they are worth the investment. Robert has used his favourite industry mag, HJ, to advertise his scheme. "It won’t be about me getting an immediate return on my investment", said Robert. "It will be about ongoing support. I would also like to offer my son, who is currently training to be a hairdresser, the chance of working for the enterprice". |
