Beauty and femininity epitomise the Satine Collection, a luxurious look at shape, texture and style inspired by mid 20th century chic. The hair is glossy and healthy with shapes that accentuate shine and the feminine curves of the body. Mid length hair is tamed into rolls to frame the face or cut with weight through the crown and styled with plenty of volume and movement. Long hair is sculpted to the brow bone and then crafted into tumbling curls that fall gently over the shoulder. Short hair is moulded into loose Marcel waves for a sultry romantic finish. Tones are kept natural with luminous light browns and golds or clear baby blondes.

At a charity gala event held in The Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, the First Lady of Musical Theatre Elaine Paige OBE was honoured by The Variety Club children’s charity and the TONI&GUY Charitable Foundation’s ‘Sound of Musicals 2009’. With performances from Antony Costa of Blue, Russ Abbot and the guest of honour herself Elaine Paige OBE the night proved a fitting tribute to both musical theatre and its most treasured performer.

The TONI&GUY Charitable Foundation have raised hundreds of thousands of pounds to help sick and disabled children at their TONI&GUY Ward in The Variety Club Children’s Hospital, King’s College Hospital, London. Established in 2003 by Toni and Pauline Mascolo the Foundation aims to help a number of charitable causes through the TONI&GUY and essensuals company salon network.
