Honours American women who are worth it
L’Oréal Paris has opened nominations via a special Website for its fourth annual Women of Worth Initiative in recognition of female volunteers. Women from all over the US are encouraged to nominate a woman in their community who is making a difference through volunteerism. The top 10 honourees that are chosen will receive $5,000 for their charitable causes and an equal amount will also be given to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, which has been affiliated with L’Oréal’s charity work since 1997. The site also offers women tips on how to get involved and shares personal stories.
