Taking their cues from 2008 in 2009, women’s hair trends will play to the extremes. Hair styles might be extremely short, extremely girly or extremely sexy. It’s only the Bob haircut that will sit somewhere next to the extreme and you’re going to be hard pressed to find that hair style on fashion forward women. In 2008 women’s haircuts got shorter. The Bob hair trend dominated and those who got it their popularity grew. Now, in 2009 we are left with an interesting predicament. The fashion forward short bobs are no longer fashion forward. Every woman got one. Fashion forward women have a choice to make. Keep their Bobs and blend with the crowd or to cut their hair short and stand out.

Del resto L’Oréal considera eBay responsabile della vendita di prodotti falsi e sottolinea che il sito d’aste, guadagnando comunque sulle compravendite e aggiudicandosi una parte dei proventi da ogni asta e dalle pubblicità, ha il dovere di monitorare la genuinità degli articoli proposti. Francia, Spagna, Germania, Gran Bretagna e Belgio sono coinvolti nella denuncia.

The news seems to get worse for the beauty industry in light of the current economic climate. According to the latest reports, The Body Shop, a beauty store chain owned by L’Oréal, will shed 275 jobs worldwide. More than 150 jobs will be lost at the company’s base in Littlehampton, UK. L’Oréal CEO Jean-Paul Agon, has blamed the cuts on the slowing economy, and revealed plans to create new products for the struggling chain. The Body Shop was bought out by L’Oréal in 2006. The extent of the job losses at the US headquarters in Wake Forest, which employs roughly 300 workers, has not been disclosed.
