P&G invests more than € 17 million

21 Oct, 2008

in the expansion of its German distribution center in Crailsheim.

During the next two years Procter & Gamble (P&G) will invest more than € 17 million in the expansion of its German distribution center in Crailsheim.
Otmar W. Debald, GM Finance and logistics of P&G Germany, Austria and Switzerland, says: “With the expansion of the distribution center in Crailsheim P&G again positively signals its long-term commitment to Germany. This already the fourth investment of this type since the beginning of 2007. After the extension of the centers in the German cities of Weiterstadt, Altfeld and Euskirchen P&G now completes its logistics network with the construction of a distribution center in Southern Germany. With a total investment of above € 80 million P&G improves its delivery service in all business areas and through shorter distances reduces fuel consumption and negative effects of traffic to improve a positive environmental track record.”
