State registered hairdressers enjoyed tea and cakes while rubbing shoulders with MPs and industry leaders at the HairdressingCouncil’s annual reception at the house of Commons. Host Austin Mitchell MP talked about the need for regulation within the hairdressing industry – a message echoed Steven Goldsworthy, ambassador for the Hairdressing Council.
Said newly appoimted registrar, Sally Styles: “I’m delighted with the upbeat and positive messages received during the afternoon – every passionate, committed and qualified hairdresser deserves the protection of a regulated industry.”
