Beverly C recently presented key looks and trends to a select audience of 60 hairdressers at the Goldwell Academy, Mayfair, London.
The intimate event combined a mix of cutting, finishing and avantgrade techniques, with Beverly explaning how each look could be recreated in the salon.
Audience member Reg Circelli, owner of Adam and Eve in Felixstowe, commented: “It was great to see my hairdressing idol, she was so natural and the models were amazing. The evening felt so relaxed, it was like watching from the front room of my house.

MATRIX has launched a new national hairdressing competition, Destination Fame, which it claims is accessible to every hairdresser in the UK and Ireland. The brief is to create a male or female look using colour that is on-trend for 2008/09. Entrants simply need to take two photographs of their’ model’sporting the look and email or post them with an entry form to MATRIX on or before 30 June, 2008. Twelve finalists will be invited to London on 13 July to present their looks with the chance of winning one of three grand prizes.
The three winners will take part in a shoot with three mentors, the result of which will be a Destination Fame calendar, which will be distribuited throughout the UK.

Stylists from Tony & Guy salons across the midlands worked backstage to create on-trend looks for a high-octane fashion show hosted by Kelly Osbourne.
