“As life is currently a spinning melting pot, so too, was my inspiration. The La Frange (The Fringe) collection is the synergy of multi-facted ideas. Local art, catwalk fashion, graffiti and nature all played a part in influencing my collection. My starting point was some of the fashion pieces on catwalk shows in London and Paris. Then in Australia, Sass and Bide really captured my imagination. I’m loving the texture in their latest designs. All sort of art also inspired the textures and complex colours that I selected to embellish the precision-cut, commercial hairstyles.”
