The Sassoon International Creative Team, led by Mark Hayes, unveiled their latest Academy collection JEJUENE at Salon Live, Salon International 2017, London.

The team presented the new collection with a series of informative cutting and colouring demonstrations and choreographed presentations fully displaying the magnitude of creativity, the Sassoon team exude.

“This Season we celebrated individuality and authenticity as well as championing the truly contemporary, taking inspiration from an eclectic array of source material to create a stylishly ambient hair landscape,” says Mark.

Inspiration for the AW17 Academy collection came from today’s fashion, which has a uniquely eclectic and individualist approach. Designers are taking inspiration from an amazing array of source material that creates an aesthetic that references nostalgia but is not tied down by history. Vintage seventies prints and rebellious leather jackets, vivid sequinned tops alongside folksy embroidered denim are a revival of dressing up with an individual, innovative spirit. It’s this uniquely diverse and nonconformist approach that has inspired the Jejeune Collection by Sassoon Academy.
