SALON LOOK MADRID, the Integral Image and Aesthetics Exhibition, will be including in its 2016 edition –from 5th to 7th November- a new edition of its usual Makeup Championships, where renowned makeup professionals square off every year.
The Championships will be held on 6th and 7th November in Hall 5 at Feria de Madrid and will have Retro Baby as its themes for the work on the first day and Galáctica on the second. The entry fee is €50 for one championship and €90 for both championships.
This year, the themes of the competition will be Retro Baby and Galactic
Retro Baby makeupis exemplified by women like Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, Lana del Rey and Adele. Their skin needs to be flawless and the eyes perfectly drawn. Their image is always accompanied by voluminous and well-designed hairstyles; collected, semi collected, carded locks or waves.
Meanwhile, Galáctica is a makeup style that needs to be executed with subtle flashes; silver, gold, strategically-placed glitter and plenty of facial skin care. It also involves breaking the rules and marking lines and strokes which are impossible but which enhance the beauty of a woman. The general styling needs to be truly majestic.
