Afeter nearly two years in the making, L’ORÉAL confirms it has completed its move to open up a major new US distribution center. The multi-million dollar plan will see a 513,000 square-foot regional distribution hub opened in southern Dallas County. The choice of the city followed a nationwide search for site locations by the global beauty brand, and Dallas wad reportedly selected for the tax incentives approved by the city conuncil. These incentives total around $ 4.5 million’s worth, according to CBSDRW.com, including an economic development grant worth nearly $ 2 million. Speaking to the Dallas Business Journal, Mayor Mile Raelings has voiced his confidence in the move by the cosmetics company. “L’Oréal is an international leader in their category and we now have a new community member. It shows the strategic importance of Dallas, as far as ogistics. This shows that the Inland Port is alive and well and growing”, he has noted.
