THE 2009 BREAKTHROUGH TEAM SHOW… RESUL OF THE CREAM OF THE COMPANY’S EMERGING TALENT!

 

The TONI&GUY and essensuals Breakthrough Team, now in its fourth year, is a collaboration between Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck (Global Creative Director), Gary France (International Artistic Director) and Jo O’Neil (International Technical Education Director) and Jenny Yu (Press Officer for Brand and Creative Projects). The breakthrough team’s mission: to select and nurture talented young individuals from across the TONI&GUY UK network company, who have shown raw talent, commitment, individuality and the effortless ability to shine! Each member has “fast tracked” their creative development through undergoing training and development sessions as well as assisting and taking part in key creative projects and shoots, plus enjoying mentoring from Gary France, Jo O’Neill and guest TONI&GUY Art Directors.
At the end of year Breakthrough Team Show, each member presented two models and talked us through the inspiration behind the total looks created, something they have been working towards throughout the past year as Breakthrough Team members. This show proves that sheer hard work and dedication always pay off as they have come up with brilliant looks combining vibrant stage presentations and gorgeous hair.

MAHOGANY FOR HOUSE OF BLUE EYES – LONDON FASHION WEEK Donna Summer’s iconic disco anthem ‘I Feel love’ meets Moloko’s classic Ibizan hands-in-the-air track of freedom ‘sing it back’ aligned with the futuristic underground energy of London – this is I FEEL LOVE. Taking you from Cleopatra’s ancient Egypt, into the future with gold, gold and more gold, Johnny’s models strut the catwalk in a disco-esque fashion, donning a theatrical collection reminiscent of Pierre Cardin and Courreges’s futuristic designs of the late 60s. A metallic gold collection, with only accents of black, cover the men and ladies who were robotically transported from the future (aka Mahogany Hairdressing Academy for the hair and make-up) into club Jalouse for the face-off. A liquid-pool of gold lycra shimmered into the room, every model looking individually styled and perfectly but unconventionally formed. Hair ranging from the largest afros, to no hair at all, beautifully adorned by Mahogany hairstylists with glistening gold paint, with only one common denominator – hair away from the face.

LEBRÓN PELUQUEROS ABRE SU 17º NEGOCIO La familia LEBRÓN, sinónimo, en Sevilla, de Peluquería con mayúsculas, ha puesto en funcionamiento, el pasado 10 de Septiembre, un nuevo centro de trabajo, el 17º establecimiento de los hermanos Alberto y Alejandro, con su padre Antonio Lebrón al frente. El nuevo salón, de 95 metros cuadrados, se encuentra en una de las calles más transitadas del centro de Sevilla, Alfonso XII, 36. Tomás Moreno dirige los designios de la nueva peluquería unisex de Lebrón, con cinco empleados en plantilla y nueve puestos de trabajo. A L’ORÉAL PROFESSIONNEL se le ha encomendado la tarea de embellecer a su clientela. “Esperamos del nuevo salón una pronta rentabilidad. Nos encontramos en una zona con un gran potencial de clientes, a lo que se suma el prestigio añadido de nuestro nombre en el resto de la ciudad”, explicaba el Gerente de la firma, Alberto Lebrón. Una nueva peluquería y más puestos de trabajo, en un crecimiento sosegado y tranquilo, con los pies muy firmes en el suelo.
