Beauté Sélection Lyon 2011 a pulvérisé, les 6 et 7 novembre derniers, tous les records avec près de 20 500 visiteurs (coiffure et esthétique), soit une hausse de 37 % par rapport à 2010 ! La quasi-totalité des exposants, y compris les habitués, a été agréablement surprise non seulement par l’affluence, mais aussi par l’excellent climat d’affaires. Comme à Paris, l’accent a été mis sur l’artistique autour d’une programmation qualitative : l’Academy by Jean-Marie Contreras, le studio Marisol, la collection automne-hiver de Vitality’s, le workshop de Christo B. … Côté stands, 132 exposants, présentant plus de 300 marques, se sont déployés. On a ainsi pu noter une première présence réussie du distributeur Objectif Coiffure et de ses boutiques Bleu Libellule, et un retour en force des extensions (Ariès, Balmain Hair, etc.), tandis que les stands des marques d’inspiration naturelle ne désemplissaient pas. Sans oublier, dans un autre registre, Generik dont le stand -décoré d’une magnifique Renault 4L !- était souvent inaccessible du fait d’une affluence record ! Autres stands bondés, ceux des fournisseurs de lissages brésiliens, ainsi que celui du lissage coréen présenté en exclusivité par EDCF.

The IVth World Skii Competition for Hairdressers will be held in Zagreb, Croatia on the mountain Sljeme, on 25-26 February 2012. During the event will be also a seminar for Argan Oasis Oil. The seminar is free of charge for all paricipants.

The third edition of MakeUp in Paris, late June, which will take place at the Carrousel du Louvre at the heart of Paris promises to be a colourful edition. If only because of the offering of exhibitors which − not to mention requests from new companies that reach us every day and are still currently on the waiting list (but they can rest assured, not for long with the addition of new floor space!) will be significantly enriched.

The XIV International Hair and Beauty Festival, an event sponsored by Intercoiffure Bulgaria, in Sofia, on October 9, hosted teams of the sections from Israel, Russia, Poland, Switzerland, Australia and Brazil, that staged a series of shows featuring hair fashion trends in what is called the Show of the Nations, where internationally acknowledged professionals presented their expertise. To represent the country, Intercoiffure Brazil appointed the hairdressers Lauro Soares Boos, of Salon Heads Coiffure, in the city of Campinas (State of São Paulo), and Antonio Crizel and Nilton Santos of Salon Hairtech, in the city of Pelotas (State of Rio Grande do Sul).
