 Long-hair maestro Patrick Cameron has had a photographic award named after him by the New Zeland Association of Registered Hairdressers. The inaugural PATRICK CAMERON PHOTOGRAPHIC CHALLENGE AWARD was won by Michelle Webb of Hi Gorgeous, Rangiora, with second prize going to Donna James from Donna James Hairdressing in Nelson and third place aearded to Hazel Newman fromm Jan Waite Hairdressing in Auckland. Patrick, a New Zelander himself, commented: "I am so proud of them; the competition was truly unique in that the entrants had to show the hairstyle from alla angles, which meant that the stylist had to think the whole look through". |

| Verona 23/24 ottobre: Intercoiffure Italia ha dato appuntamento ai suoi illustri membri nella splendida cornice veronese, in un contesto davvero incantevole, aspettando Roma 2012. Il congresso Mondiale si terrà infatti nella capitale il prossimo giugno. Come di consueto durante l’incontro ci sono state le rappresentazioni degli stilisti junior e senior, la presentazione della Collezione Luce e Movimento, per concludere con la consegna a Vittore Furlanetto della prestigiosa "forbice d’oro". |

Cardano al Campo (VA). Il 24 settembre 2011 si è svolto uno dei seminari del CLUB Luigi Buratti, che ad oggi vanta già oltre 30 saloni iscritti.
Luigi e Fausto, titolari del club, hanno sviluppato analisi delle tendenze, sviluppo delle tecniche oltre all’esecuzione pratica delle proposte.
Durante la giornata è stata illustrata anche la strategia aziendale per quel che riguarda il piano di comunicazione. |

At Alternative’s International Visionary Award (which showcases fresh creative talent) 15 models presented a myriad of outstanding avant-garde creations, from huge furballs and exaggerated Mohicans to sleek colourful geometrics and asymmetric towers of hair. First place went to Marco Lamberti, Italy; second place to Bruno Marc Giamettei, UK and third place to Sonia Danaher, Ireland.

| Si è svolto a Milano il Campionato mondiale individuale degli acconciatori "HairWorld 2011" che si è concluso con l’assegnazione della medaglia d’oro ad ANTONIO MESSINA, parrucchiere casertano ed insegnante d’arte del centro UAAMI della stessa città . Insieme ad Alessandro Iannaccone, allenatore della nazionale italiana, Antonio ha realizzato due acconciature: un raccolto ed un taglio-acconciatura, con prove cronometrate e tempi da 15 a 25 minuti, nell’esecuzione delle quali occorreva combinare creatività , accuratezza e velocità . Complimenti! |

The Alternative Hair Visionary Award has become an important and popular part of the Alternative Hair Show. This year the strong finalists will each present their model at the International Visionary Award Show during the Alternative Hair Show at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 16th October. |

Fashion’s elite take to London’s Covent Garden
for a night of glitz and glamour. |
| Sanrizz teamed up with Premier Model Management on Thursday 8th September to celebrate Vogue’s Night Out in the North Hall of the Piazza in London’s Covent Garden. Sanrizz was headed up by their six strong team, consisting of Creative Director Leonardo Rizzo, Laura Forde, Robert Kirby, Alex Cantle, and Vanessa Boland who were on hand to style, tease and tousle hair into various chic and edgy looks, live in their compound, with the models then taking to the catwalk to show off Sanrizz’s carefully crafted presentations. Vanessa Boland was joined by Alastair Gourley, to promote both the Sanrizz salon, and the team members to the awaiting crowd. |
