The Alternative Hair Visionary Award has become an important and popular part of the Alternative Hair Show. | Local Inverness hairdressing salon Ego Hair Design, located at Kenneth Street in the city has been nominated in the Scottish Independent Retail Awards 2011 in the Hair and Beauty Category. The finalists have been shortlisted as a result of a flood of nominations from the public nationwide, eager to ensure that their most loved "independents" did not go unnoticed and were rewarded for their hard work, talents and contribution to local enterprise. Caroline Sanderson, Owner of the Inverness based salon said: "It’s really been an incredible year for all of us at Ego Hair Design and we really do love what we do. My team and I hope to be able to bring Inverness a further win, and keep Highlands hairdressing at the top".The glitzy awards night will be held at the Marriott Hotel in Glasgow on Thursday 13th October 2011. |

| Sanrizz teamed up with Premier Model Management on Thursday 8th September to celebrate Vogue’s Night Out in the North Hall of the Piazza in London’s Covent Garden. Sanrizz was headed up by their six strong team, consisting of Creative Director Leonardo Rizzo, Laura Forde, Robert Kirby, Alex Cantle, and Vanessa Boland who were on hand to style, tease and tousle hair into various chic and edgy looks, live in their compound, with the models then taking to the catwalk to show off Sanrizz’s carefully crafted presentations. Vanessa Boland was joined by Alastair Gourley, to promote both the Sanrizz salon, and the team members to the awaiting crowd. |
