Michelle Obama è per il magazine “GLAMOUR” la donna più bella dell’anno.
Scelta per il suo ruolo di mentore nei confronti delle giovani donne svela di essersi ispirata ai genitori ed ai suoi insegnanti, non alle star dello spettacolo.
Per la prima volta in 70 anni GLAMOUR dedica la copertina ad una first lady.

Domenica 25 e Lunedì 26 ottobre, nella splendida cornice romagnola del Palazzo dei Congressi di Riccione si è svolta la IV edizione de “INNOVATION PROJECT” di Lisap Milano.

Hanno tenuto a battesimo la nascita della linea di prodotti styling “Fashion” l’hairstylist Fulvio Furcas “Furcas Parrucchieri” & Alfonso di Giugliano patron del marchio “Esibisko Parrucchieri” che rispettivamente hanno eseguito acconciature-sculture, il primo, tagli attualissimi il secondo. Il primo giorno di lavori si è concluso con una cena di gala, terminata con una bellissima torta commemorativa, tenutasi presso il salone del Palazzo dei Congressi, per tutti i 650 ospiti.
Lunedì è stata la volta della presentazione dell’ accademia “I Fashion Team”. La direzione dei lavori è stata a cura di Luca Caron, Gimmi Facco e Letizia de Biasi, coaches della scuola Lisap. A seguire una standing ovation ha salutato Ernesto Montenovo by Taktik, che ha regalato momenti di piacere con lavori tecnici e artistici di un livello di immagine e professionalità molto alta. Direttamente da Zelig Katia & Valeria, intervenute come animatrici, hanno contribuito alla riuscita dell’evento, permettendo al pubblico in platea di vivere un “taglio” di programma esilarante.

Mrs. Hignell-Bowman: the new Herb UK’s general sales manager

.	Tanis Hignell-Bowman has joined Herb UK as general sales manager. Her role at the company will focus on maintaining levels of communication between salons and their UK distributors. Tanis was previously business development manager for Davines.

Trevor Mitchell at the National Hairdressing Championships of Russia

Trevor Mitchell, of Trevor Mitchell International, Southampton, and his art director, Nick Maqrtin, were recently invited to judge the National Hairdressing Championships of Russia in St Petersburg.
Thousands of spectators turned up to support the 1,500 competitors and Trevor and Nick were both hugely impressed by the array of talent on show and the commitment of the Russian hair industry in investing and promoting the vent.
Said Trevor: “It says something about how the UK is valued by the Hairdressing Federation in Russia that two British judges were chosen as the only judges from outside the organization. I was told that they respect and recognise our integrity and honesty and twe have been invited back again in 2010. Nick and I were lost for words at the intensity of the energy around us. The hairdressing on display was nothing short of world-class.”
