Sassoon Academy’s Mark Hayes and Edward Darley and a host of industry stars will feature in the spectacular hair shows at this year’s wella Professionals Trend Vision UK Final, at the Round House, Camden Town, London, on 28 September. The Sassoon Academy team will present its Le Basier Collection, while The Blonde Icon Show will feature talent from leading salons such as Cheynes, Marc Antoni, D&J Ambrose and Toni & Guy. The Future Vision Show will see members of the FAME Team work with previous Trend Vision Young Talent winners for a dynamic presentation.

SURREAL COLLECTION

The Surreal Collection is inspired by Man Ray’s surreal photography and Matisse art works. It draws on three fashion directions for this Autumn/Winter 2009 Collections.

Shropshire-based salon group Rizzo Hairdressing was recently shortlisted as Best Employer in the Shropshire Business Award. The group was picked from more than 100 entries submitted by a variety of businesses, and achieved second place in the grand final, held at the Park Inn, Telford. Said the group’s owner Debra Hinton (picture): “The primary focus of our entry was our staff training programme, which is one of the strengths we feel sets us above other companies. We place huge importance on delivering continuous and structure training to all our employees.”
